They created great features in this new update. Existing and new players will love this update; they have updated the equipment and armour to have a good experience.

In the recent Nether update, Minecraft introduced a new block, the crying Obsidian. This crying Obsidian has many unique characteristics and interesting things. This is fun for gamers, but unfortunately, it is not easy to obtain it in large quantities.

Although related, Crying Obsidian blocks are different from standard Obsidian blocks in Minecraft because they cannot build Nether Portals. Instead, the Crying Obsidian refers to the too generic Obsidian used for Nether transport, which appears to be crying as a result.

What Does Crying Obsidian do in Minecraft?

It’s a block

The crying Obsidian is a classic square. It is as hard as normal Obsidian, and as a bonus, it has a brightness level of 10! This means it will light up your room but will not melt snow or ice.

It’s one of the strongest blocks in the game.

Crying Obsidian looks different from regular Obsidian but works in the same way. Explosive protection cannot destroy ender dragons at 1200, nor is it flammable. It must also be mined on Diamond orNetherrite Pickaxe.

It has its limits

You can’t push and pull on both types of pistons, and you can’t use it to craft a Nether Portal. The strange thing about this is that it can spawn as part of a ruined portal structure.

How To use Crying Obsidian

The Respawn Anchor

In the 1.16 update version, this new block was added. This block sets your spawn point in the Nether, so if / when you die, you won’t be trapped or lost in the end. It’s the first time in the history of Minecraft that there has been a regeneration point in the Nether since the bed exploded when trying to put it down!

The Bass Drum

The similarity to the present Obsidian is not surprising. Placing a crying Obsidian under a note block will make a bass drum sound when activated.

Achievement

All you have to do on your list and unlock achievements because the crying Obsidian has its achievements.

If you need a nice shiny block for decoration, you can place a weeping obsidian block, but its main use is to create a respawn anchor. These require three glowing stone blocks and six weeping Obsidian and serve as bed counterparts. Beds allow you to respawn in the overworld when you die but only work with Nether instead of respawning anchors. Respawn anchors that don’t charge will be out of luck if they die doing nothing, so be sure to recharge them from the glows-tone.

Uses of Crying Obsidian

  • Like the Obsidian, the Crying Obsidian is an explosion resistance block with an explosion resistance of 1,200. The ender dragon cannot destroy it.
  • Crying Obsidian can be used as Respawn anchor, a convenient block that allows Nether players to respawn.
  • The Crying Obsidian sheds light on ten brightnesses. The Crying Obsidian is very useful as it is the only anti-explosion light source in the game. Use this for dangerous builds that require lighting!
  • Sticky pistons or pistons cannot pull or push the Crying Obsidian. You can imagine it’s the same name.

Conclusion

That’s all! Crying Obsidian is a pretty cool block, with a deep and rich past built on community commentary and popularity. If Minecraft players didn’t come together and voice their opinions, Minecraft wouldn’t have this block and maybe nothing associated with it. It’s not an escape game or anything, but it’s still there, and that’s a good thing.

Minecraft has many game modes, including survival mode. Players compete to build the world and get resources to stay healthy, and in all creative modes, there are unlimited resources that allow players to create and create whatever they want for free.
