I love saving time when using my computer. One of the great ways of doing this is using Shortcut Keys. Once you get to speed with them it will actually save you so much time. With Windows 7 there are over 100 Keyboard Shortcuts so im not going to list them all. But the ones I think are the best are listed here:
| Shortcut | Effect |
| Shift+Delete | Delete the selected item without moving it to the Recycle Bin first. |
| Alt+Enter | Display properties for the selected item. |
| Alt+Up Arrow | View the folder one level up in Windows Explorer. |
| Ctrl+Shift+Esc | Open Task Manager (a more direct method). |
| Windows Key +D | Display the desktop. |
| Windows Key +R | Open the Run dialog box. |
| Windows Key +Spacebar | Preview the desktop. |
| Shift +Windows Key +Number | Start a new instance of the program pinned to the taskbar in the position indicated by the number. |
| Alt +Windows Key +Number | Open the Jump List for the program pinned to the taskbar in the position indicated by the number. |
| Windows Key +T | Cycle through programs on the taskbar. |
